Requirements: Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (for microphone/speech recognition). Safari and Firefox are not supported for recording, but you can still paste transcripts manually.
Recommended microphone: For the best transcription accuracy, we recommend a wireless clip-on microphone such as the DJI Mic Mini. A dedicated mic dramatically improves recognition quality over your computer's built-in microphone, especially in a busy clinic environment.

After generating a SOAP note, the Client Summaries tab becomes available with two versions:
Use the 📋 Copy button on either summary.
Use the 📞 Phone Summary button for phone calls instead of in-person consultations. This generates a concise summary of the call suitable for pasting directly into the medical record. Phone summaries are generated independently — you don't need to generate a SOAP note first.
Record an entire afternoon — or even a full day — of back-to-back appointments as a single transcript. When you need a SOAP note for just one patient, KenwoodScribe extracts only their portions from the full recording.
Here's how it works:
Say you hit record at the start of your afternoon and leave it running across five appointments. Later that evening, you need the SOAP note for Bella. Just type "Bella" in the pet name field, check the "Multi-pet transcript — extract only this pet" checkbox, and click Generate SOAP →. KenwoodScribe scans the entire transcript, finds only the sections relevant to Bella, and generates a complete SOAP note from just that content.
You only pay for the one SOAP you generate — not for the entire transcript.
Save the transcript and you can come back any time within the next 14 days to pull up a different patient and generate their note on demand. One recording session, unlimited SOAP notes on your schedule.
If KenwoodScribe can't automatically match the name you entered, a modal will appear prompting you to select the correct patient from the list of identified pets.
If a single consultation involves multiple pets (e.g., two patients seen in one appointment):
